Finding the Time to Do Things You Don’t Want to Do

Having to do things we don’t want to do is bad enough. It’s when we find the time to do them that all hell breaks loose.

Seriously, who wants to do anything that they don’t want to do? I know I don’t. I hate doing things I don’t want to do.

It’s an unfortunate occurrence when we find ourselves with time on our hands. At least, sometimes it is. Lately, my life’s been pretty busy, so fortunately, all those little things I don’t want to do have been avoided…for now.

Sometimes, having time to do things can be a good thing. I’m not saying having time is a bad thing. I’m saying that, when you have to do something you don’t want to do, finding time to do it can be annoying and frustrating. Like going to the dentist. It just isn’t fun. And when you find the time to do it, it’s even less fun because then, unfortunately,  you have to do it.

Frustration at its finest.

Wow, that was a mouthful, huh?

Folks, let’s face it. In a world where the here and now is HERE and NOW instantly, it’s becoming evermore easier to find the time to do all these cumbersome, tedious, or painful tasks.

Luckily, most of us can keep our sanity. Sometimes.
